What kind of PC flight simulators do fighter pilots use if any?
And why have you chosen that specific simulator. I would like to get answers only from fighter pilots.
I meant AT HOME when they are not "working". Something civilians can have access to.

Well…. I’m not a fighter pilot, but I do fly black hawks, which is alot more bad a$$ by the way. Anyways, we don’t use pc sims, neither do fighter pilots I belive, The sims we use are fully motianal cockpits which cost tens of millions of dollars. They spend so much money on these i’d find it kinda funny if the had us training on a twenty dollar computer game. Alot of the guys have ms flight simulator X at home and play it all the time, Its really acurrate, you can fly military aircraft and fly the same training area’s we do at work.
one made by the "man"….none of us can get our hands on
I was in the navy flight program. They had very large simulators with actual cockpits that ran off of mainframes I believe. It simulated actual movement. That was a while ago and it could be different now but I doubt that they do much actual flight training on a PC.
I heard that some US Navy training involves using the Microsoft Flight Similator. Whether it is 2004 or X, I don’t know.
